Even though they usually don’t show it in the same ways, like humans, pets can experience pain. We will work with you to determine the best way to control your pet’s pain. Dogs can take oral anti-inflammatory medications; however, cats do not tolerate many standard pain medications. Recent advances have allowed for better pain control in cats. Most importantly, after surgery, always follow the instructions provided by your vet. It is important to leave the incision alone.
